I chose the winter theme for this character design exercise. About winter, winter gives me the first feeling is Christmas, the second feeling is snow, is warm woolen coat. The character I designed is a Christmas snowball little ghost, which hopes to bring joy and warmth to people. So I gave it a clown nose.I love Christmas so much that EVERY year I look forward to it even before Halloween. This is the second character I’ve done this week, and I really wanted to do a character that looked like Christmas. Christmas always gives me a lively and bright atmosphere.I designed a Holly brooch for this little Christmas ghost. It was the first time he saw the Holly, and he thought it was so beautiful that he could not help picking it.In winter, we like to wear some heavy and heavy clothes to bring us warmth. Woolen fabrics give me the impression that they are rough and warm. They are usually paired with fur. And I also think of one of my favorite movies is The Nightmare before Christmas. And then a little story came to mind when I was designing the character. Bill is a ghost who forgets to follow the ghosts to the afterlife at the end of Halloween. It wandered in the world for a month and experienced Christmas. It was moved by the warm and happy atmosphere of Christmas and fell in love with Christmas. So it used snowballs as its body and hands. I also kept a little bit of Halloween on him. His nose is not a carrot, but a clown’s red nose, which means he’s a ghost from a scary holiday. But Bill’s red nose can also represent rudolph the reindeer, so it can also be used as a symbol of joy.
